‘Raavanan’ is also special for Sabyasachi Mukherjee because it was on the sets of the film that he met his favorite South Indian actress Shobana Chandrakumar. Pepsi, as he is popularly known as, says that one of the most joyous moments in his life was when Shobana addressed him by name, which meant that she knew him!
Speaking on his love for saris, which Sabyasachi Mukherjee says is an uber sexy garment, and his love for the Indian tradition, the designer says that he will never participate in a fashion show held overseas, because his own country has a lot to offer in terms of fashion. While fashion shows are his forte, his fans will be eagerly waiting to watch Sabyasachi Mukherjee the director.
