London, Dec 14 (ANI): She is one of most glamorous female writers today, but JK Rowlings parents wanted her to be a boy.
The Harry Potter creator recently revealed that she had several bad hair days as a child, as her haircuts were always crooked.
The 42-year-old writer talks about her tragic childhood haircuts while she and younger sister Diane look at old photos of themselves in documentary film, JK Rowling: A Year In The Life Of, to be screened on December 30.
My haircut was always crooked, the Daily Express quoted her, as saying.
She also revealed that as a little girl she always wore blue while Diane wore pink.
I was supposed to be the boy. I was supposed to be Simon John, she said. (ANI)
