I was malnourished and exhausted: Selena Gomez
June 14th, 2011 - 2:23 pm ICT by IANSLondon, June 14 (IANS) Singer-actress Selena Gomez, who was rushed to hospital after complaining of nausea and a severe headache, admits that she was malnourished and exhausted. But she says she is fine now.
“I was just very malnourished… low on iron and exhausted,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
The 18-year-old was supposed to hit the stage with her band The Scene for a concert to promote her new film “Monte Carlo” in Santa Monica, California, Friday - but her hospitalisation forced the promoters to postpone the gig.
The show was rescheduled for Monday afternoon and a healthy Gomez thanked her fans for turning up.
“If you guys came on Friday, I’m so sorry that I couldn’t be here… I love you guys very much,” she said.
