I think Meryl Streep believes she’s too smart for fashion, says US stylist
August 15th, 2010 - 3:56 pm ICT by ANIWellington, Aug 15 (ANI): American stylist Tim Gunn has slammed veteran actress Meryl Streep’s fashion sense.
Gunn wants talk to Streep because he thinks she makes no efforts to wear proper clothes.
The 57-year-old fashionista is known for being a mentor on American design show Project Runway.
“I would love to have a chat with Meryl Streep about the semiotics of clothes. I love Meryl Streep, I am an unbridled fan, but I think she believes she’s too smart for fashion. That it’s not something she should be addressing intellectually,” Stuff.co.nz quoted Gunn as saying.
“Let’s have a talk Meryl, because I believe with her fabulous figure and gorgeous shape and who she is in the world she can do a little better. It’s all about silhouette shape,” he added. (ANI)
