I set myself on fire on set: Russell Brand
April 26th, 2010 - 2:47 am ICT by IANSLondon, April 26 (IANS) British comedian Russell Brand escaped unscathed after he accidentally caught in a fire on the set of his new movie “Get Him To The Greek”.
The “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star reprises his role as hellraising rock star Aldous Snow in the comedy, which also stars Jonah Hill and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
During one scene Brand was lucky to escape unscathed after sparks ignited his costume on set, reports dailystar.co.uk.
“I got set on fire once. There’s a bit in the movie where I do a concert, and there’s a wall of sparks raining down from the heavens. And it caught me on fire. I stood in the wrong place; I caught on fire for a little. That was a bad bit,” he said.
