“I PLAY THE CHARACTER OF RENUKA”- Gulpanag

Till date Gulpanag has only worked in 6-7 films but all the films have a different color. She became Miss India in year 1999, after which she came in sensitive film “Dhoop”. Everyone appreciated her work. After that she worked in films like Zurm, Door, Manorama Six feet under, Summer 2007, Hello etc. Now days Gul is back in news for her upcoming movie “Straight - Pinu Patel ki Tedi Medi Love Story. This film is by IDreams Production and it is directed by Parvati Balgopalan who earlier directed “Rules pyar ka super hit formula” with Gulpanag there is Vinay Pathak, Arjun Choudhary, Ketaki Dave, Rasik Dave etc. Recently in our conversation with her she shared her expressions with us-
What kind of film “Straight-Pinu patel ki Tedi Medi Love Story”. What is the story about?
It has modern comedy, love and all that which audience will like to watch. There is a young man Pinu Patel, but he has lots of problem regarding him and all this creates humor.
You are doing comedy in the film, earlier you have done films which have a serious character. How was your experience working in the film?
It was great, I have worked for the first time in such kind of film, and I had a good experience working. My name in the film is Renu who is an artist. For her bread and butter she works at the restaurant of Pinu Patel as a cashier.
The director of the film is a woman, was there in difference working with her?
If the director of the film is a woman that too of your same age then it becomes more fun working. We really had a great time.
How was the experience working with Vinay pathak?
It was great to work with Vinay we all really had a good time.
You are also working on TV, tell us something about it?
I am hosting a dance show “Jhalak Dikhlaja” it will be staring soon.. I have earlier also worked on TV, it was a serial known as Kashmir. It was quite popular.
You are also in an ad with Amir Khan, how was the experience?
It was great; he is really an outstanding actor. As I have heard about him he is really like that. Too good in his work.
Which is your coming up film?
I am doing ram gopal Verma’s film “Ran”with me ther is Big B, Parvesh Rawal, Ritesh Deshmukh and Rajat Kapor. I am playing the role of Nandita. -Sampurn Media
