I knew Jim was the one for me: Witherspoon
April 17th, 2011 - 8:29 am ICT by IANSLondon, April 17 (IANS) Actress Reese Witherspoon realised Jim Toth was ‘The One’ when she didn’t have to think even once before accepting his marriage proposal.
The ‘Water for Elephants” actress, who married the Hollywood agent last month was absolutely certain she wants to spend the rest of her life with Toth and didn’t hesitate in agreeing to get engaged, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I knew he was the one. A clue was when he asked me to marry him and I said yes right away. Didn’t have to think about it. It just feels like the right thing at the right time in my life,” she said.
Witherspoon has two children Ava, 11, and seven-year-old Deacon from her previous marriage with actor Ryan Phillippe says the pair can’t agree on who pursued who at the beginning of their relationship.
“I always thought he was a really nice guy. And then he asked me out on a date and I still thought he was a really nice guy. Of course, it’s always debatable who courted who isn’t it? He tells me, ‘You courted me.’ And I’m like, ‘What are you talking about, you courted me!’,” she said.
