I feel dead when not on stage: Lady Gaga
May 27th, 2011 - 1:54 am ICT by IANSLondon, May 27 (IANS) Singer Lady Gaga says she feels dead when she is not performing on stage.
“When I am not on stage I feel dead. Whether that is healthy or not to you, or healthy or not to anyone, or a doctor, is really of no concern to me,” she told Rolling Stones magazine.
“I don’t feel alive unless I’m performing, and that’s just the way I was born,” she added.
The singer, who is known for her wacky style statement, admits she found it difficult to cope with instant fame, reports dailymail.co.uk.
“Being myself in public was very difficult. I was being poked and probed and people would actually touch me and touch my clothes and be like, ‘What the f**k is that’, just so awful. It was like I was being bullied by music lovers, because they couldn’t possibly believe that I was genuine,” she said.
