London, May 24 (IANS) Black Eyed Peas rapper Will.I.Am has dismissed rumours he is a womaniser insisting girls always see him as a “friend, rather than the lover”.
The singer recently split from his secret girlfriend of eight years and has been linked to British singer Cheryl Cole following the breakdown of her marriage earlier this year but Will.I.Am hints he is simply a shoulder to cry on for the Girls Aloud star because women only ever want him platonically, reports thesun.co.uk.

“I’m not a gold digger… I was always the friend, rather than the lover. I’d have a crush on a girl and she’d say, ‘I don’t know Will, I see you as my brother’,” he said.

“I became the cuddler and a spooner. I’m a conversationalist. I just like to talk… to have random conversations about odd things… If you don’t talk about a girl’s interests then forget it,” he added.
