hurrMoving with a speed of 11.81 mph, Hurricane Felicia which started off as a mere storm has accelerated to 105 mph and can strike as a hurricane by this Wednesday. Another tropical storm of a higher system called Enrique has been forecast to collide with Felicia, which is gradually merging itself to form a major hurricane. Both of them are around the west-southwest tip of the Mexican peninsula and reports suggest that Felicia will gradually absorb the Tropical Storm Enrique.

The central pressure measured on the scale is about 975 MB. It is said to be moving presently in West-northwest direction at 285 degrees. The exact location of action is Baja California which is in the Pacific. The winds surfaced at about 5pm on Sunday. The effected area from the center of the hurricane may vary to many miles, and as there is no way to determine the exact course of the hurricane the Weather forecasters will keep a close watch on Felicia referring to satellite coverings for the next five days. Miami weather forecasters say the hurricane is strengthening and gaining pace and is all set to strike. The weather officials have however predicted milder hurricane patterns on the Atlantic this season. The tropical storms in June itself were about eleven in number.

According to the sources, hurricane Felicia may even absorb Enrique. Meteorologists are going to track each of the two, Enrique as well as Felicia, which is supposedly heading towards Hawaii. The winds moved 35 miles from the center of Felicia as recorded yesterday and had reached 1335 miles west from the Baja Peninsula today. Felicia is on the left followed by Enrique, a larger system but with lower maximum sustained winds of about 50 mph. Along with reports say that Morakut is another storm that would transform into a a typhoon this Wednesday.

Enrique is the least harmful of these as it won’t be heading towards the land.
