David Carradine Los Angeles was flooded with mourners who had come to attend late actor David Carradine’s funeral on Saturday, June 13. According to reports, an estimated 400 mourners have gathered under the downcast sky in Los Angeles. The funeral service for the 72 year old actor is being held 10 days after he was found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok on June 4.

The funeral service for the actor was held inside 400 acre sprawling hillside cemetery, the Hall of Liberty at Forest Lawn , Hollywood Hills. The cemetery is spread adjacent to Los Angeles Griffith Park. The service was attended by family, friends and former Hollywood co- stars. Hollywood actors like Lucy Liu, Daryl Hannah, Tom Selleck and Jane Seymour were present for the service.

The service had lasted for 2 hours. During that time, grieving fans had waited outside the cemetery braving the harsh weather to pay their last respect to the actor. Only invited guests were allowed inside the cemetery premises. At the end of the memorial service when the mourners were leaving, the gloomy clouds parted to make way for an enchanting dusk.

Meanwhile, the Thai police are still investigating the cause of the death of the actor. The Carradine family is not ruling out a possible case of homicide. Suicide has been ruled out as one of the options. According to celebrated forensic expert Michael Baden, the autopsy report clearly points away from suicide. Baden had performed a second autopsy after being requested by the Carradine family.

The family was outraged when sensitive pictures of the actor in the death scene were leaked by the Thai Rath magazine. This was one of the reason for the funeral to get postponed for so long.
