London, Aug 1 (IANS) Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman’s representative has denied that the actor is set to star in a remake of the 1992 hit “The Bodyguard”.
A spokesperson for the actor said that the reports are “totally false”, femalefirst.co.uk said.
Jackman was expected to play a New York police detective hired to guard a spoiled teen heiress played by Miley Cyrus after she receives a kidnap threat.
The remake is based on the 1992 Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner hit “The Bodyguard”.
