Hugh Jackman is Zac Efron’s role model

The young hearthrob says that he is blown away by the X-Men star’s talent — and wants to do a movie with the Aussie actor.
Efron, who was in Melbourne for a flying visit last weekend, joined Jackman in a song and dance routine at last month’s Oscars. “When I heard I was going to be on stage with Hugh, I was shocked,” Efron said. “I was like: ‘I can’t keep up with that guy’.
“Not only is he a better singer and dancer, he’s six foot three or four. He’s the tallest guy I’ve ever seen be that co-ordinated.”
Zac has become one of Hollywood’s most bankable stars thanks to his roles in the High School Musical trilogy and Hairspray.
But the heartthrob said he looked up to Jackman, 40, as a role model: “I aspire to be where he’s at some day — to have that drive.”
Efron added he would love to star in a movie alongside Jackman: “Man I wish, can somebody write that? That could be a musical too. He could pull it off.”
