Sydney, Dec 23 (ANI): Hugh Grant was a hit at the red carpet for the Australian premiere of his new romantic comedy, ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans’. About 1500 fans flocked to George Street in Sydney to catch a glimpse of the British star as he stepped out in a sharp black suit and white shirt for the premiere of his latest flick.

The ‘Notting Hill’ star spent about half an hour signing autographs and talking to young fans, with some crying and many yelling out “we love you Hugh”.

The actor blushed as one fan screamed out: “Hugh, I want your baby … I really do”.

Grant arrived Down Under Monday.

He said that he’d been having a great time in Sydney and had been enjoying playing golf.

He said he was thrilled with the reception.

“It’s lovely, really welcoming and nice. I really do like Sydney,” the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Grant as saying.

In the film, Grant co-stars with ‘Sex and The City’ star Sarah Jessica Parker, and it is about a high flying estranged New York couple who witness a murder and are put in witness protection in a small town. (ANI)
