Huge Jackman’s X-Men spin-off titled ‘The Wolverine’
November 15th, 2010 - 6:14 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Nov 15 (ANI): Director Darren Aronofsky has revealed the official title for Hugh Jackman’s solo spin-off of the X-Men franchise.
Aronofsky said the title of the film would be ‘The Wolverine’, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Jackman had recently said the film would be ‘very different’ from the first film ‘X-Men Origins’, and Aronofsky seems to validate that point.
He emphasized that ‘The Wolverine’ was not a sequel in the conventional sense, referring to the movie as a one-off.
Aronofsky’s frequent collaborator Matthew Libatique will shoot the film. (ANI)
