Hudgens hopes to get image makeover with ‘Sucker Punch’

London, March 27 (IANS) Actress Vanessa Hudgens believes her action-packed role in “Sucker Punch” will break her image of a dancing and singing girl, which she acquired after working in “High School Musical”.
“I auditioned for the role several times. It was a bit of a challenge for a second because people could only see me as the girl that randomly broke into song and dance,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.
“But I heard about this movie and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I think as long as I put the work in, people will give me the chance,” she added.
Directed by directed by Zack Snyder, the film also stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino and Oscar Isaac.
