August 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Rakesh Roshan is determined to stop at nothing to give to a boost to his son’s Bollywood career which has almost lost its tempo following the failure of Kites at the box office. It is reported from the industry that Hrithik will be playing two roles, positive and negative, simultaneously in Krrish 2. A source close to the Krrish 2 unit informs that the two opposite characters essayed by Hrithik at the same time will add an engaging dimension to the movie.

As per earlier reports from inside B-Town, Shah Rukh Khan was supposed to play the villain in the movie. However, the project is in the initial stages. Besides, Mr. Roshan is busy holidaying in Europe. The director intends to catch up with his son there. After Rakesh Roshan’s return to home, the script of the movie will be given the final nod. Hrithik is almost done shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming road movie, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

The source also reveals that Krrish 2 will be full of heavy-duty special effects. Ronit Bhatt, who has been penning the script, wonders at how Hrithik would be playing two positive roles and a negative role in the same movie. According to the writer, some big Bollywood star will essay the negative character.
