Hrithik starrer ‘Kites’ to hit screen on May 21
February 10th, 2010 - 3:08 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Mumbai, Feb 10 (IANS) Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan’s eagerly awaited romantic saga “Kites”, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Mexican model Barbara Mori, will be released May 21.
The film has two versions - English and Hindi and the trailer of the Hindi version will hit 1,700 screens worldwide Friday, while the trailer of the English version will be released shortly on 1,000 screens.
“We have always believed that Indian films and talent can enjoy the same success and recognition internationally as in India. ‘Kites’ is a first-of-its-kind Indian film and it has already generated huge interest. We are proud to present the first look to a worldwide audience,” Sanjeev Lamba, CEO of Reliance BIG Pictures, said in an statement.
“Kites” is about two lovers on a thrilling journey filled with precious moments and unexpected betrayal.
Directed by Anurag Basu, the movie also stars Kangana Ranaut, Kabir Bedi and Nick Brown.
The English version of “Kites” is being reworked by Hollywood director Brett Ratner.
