Los Angeles, Feb 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Howard Stern has filmed his first audition of the talent hunt show “America’s Got Talent.” After the first audition of the show, Howard was the first to admit that it was a tough job.

When NBC announced last year that Howard will be a judge on the show, many critics doubted his capabilities in that regard but the network and the show producers stood by him and defended that he can do a great job.

Speaking about his first filming this week, Howard told NBC that, “There were times when I was downright compassionate. It was really unsettling…I’ve taken more no-talents and made them talents. There is a way to sculpt people, to mentor people, and a way to find something that would tap into the national psyche.”

Howard replaced Piers Morgan who announced his resignation from the show late last year revealing that he plans to concentrate on his activities at CNN. Aware of the temptation on the part of viewers and fans to compare him with Morgan, Howard assured that he is bringing his own style to the show and people should look out for him and not as a replacement of Morgan.

America’s Got Talent is exclusive to NBC.
