How Yoko Ono reacted when doc broke John Lennon’s death news
December 6th, 2010 - 5:45 pm ICT by ANILondon, Dec 6 (ANI): The news of rock icon John Lennon’s death shattered his wife so much that she started hitting her head against the wall, it has been revealed.
The doctor who broke the news to Yoko Ono, Lennon’s wife, said that she was devastated to hear about her husband’s demise.
“She was hitting her head against the wall,” the Daily Express quoted Stephan Lynn as recalling in new documentary ‘The Day John Lennon Died’.
“I put my hands behind her head, fearful that she was going to hurt herself,” he said.
The heart-wrenching scene is among astonishing new details of the former Beatle’s last moments, along with chilling insights into the psyche of his crazed killer Mark Chapman, who believes he is sane and should be released from jail. (ANI)
