How it was for Jennifer Lawrence Being Painted Naked for X-Men
January 20th, 2011 - 11:56 pm ICT by Angela Kaye MasonJan 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After her experience as the blue bodied “Mystique” in ‘X-Men’, actress Jennifer Lawrence has learned how to avoid feeling self conscious while having her make-up applied for films. Having seven women painting your nude body every day for five months will do that to a girl.
The Kentucky native stated to the ‘Hollywood Reporter’, “Nothing’s sacred anymore. Those girls and I got so close. They were painting me naked every day for months. It was kind of like going to a really bizarre sleepover,” and then she added, It’s what you guys imagine we do: one naked girl and seven pairs of hands all over her.”
But having to deal with the painting sessions was not the only issue which Lawrence faces to play the part. She had to work out for two hours each and every day, and stay on a very strict diet. “It was awful. I was hungry for five months. I’m still pissed about it. I’m slowly working my way back, because I have to be able to eat like an a—hole,” stated the actress who returned home for some down home cooking as soon as the filming was done.
