‘How I met your mother’ star Neil Patrick Harris expecting twins via a surrogate mother

Los Angeles, Aug 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Neil Patrick Harris has confirmed that he and partner, David Burtka are expecting twins through a surrogate mother. The actor said they are expecting the children in October.
On the popular social networking and micro blogging site Twitter, Harris who has been nominated three times this year for the Emmy awards said he and his partner, David are excited, thrilled and nervous at the same time. He however pleaded with the press to give them some privacy in this period in their lives. The identity of the surrogate mother will not be reveled.
This particular news cannot come at a better time as the “How I Met Your mother” star received his third Emmy nomination this week.
Harris has been nominated for the best supporting actor in the comedy series for his role in the series “Glee”. He also has a nomination as best supporting actor for his role in the comedy “How I Met Your Mother”
Harris and David have been together for the past six years and this is the first time that the couple is planning to have a family.
