Aug 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Farrah Abraham has finally opened up about the death of her baby’s father, Derek Underwood. The reality star said that Derek Underwood was unaware of her participation in the show ‘16 and Pregnant’ on MTV and also explained her emotional trauma during the difficult time of his death. Farrah Abraham has been highly sought after on the web after she confessed that the relationship between her and her baby’s father was volatile and he even wanted her to get an abortion.

Farrah Abraham had remained silent about the father of her baby, Sophia, throughout the first season of ‘16 and Pregnant’. Her recent confessions have made her and Derek Underwood hot searches on the web. Derek Underwood’s death occurred in 2008 in a tragic car accident. He reportedly lost control of his car and rammed into a pole. Farrah Abraham was 2 months pregnant at that time. On ‘16 and Pregnant’ it was shown that Farrah Abraham had cut off all contacts with the father of her child and reports suggest that soon after that the accident occurred. The accident also claimed the life of another teenager who was in the car. There are also some reports that indicate that the teenagers may have been drunk at the time of the accident.

The reality series ‘16 and Pregnant’ airs on MTV and follows the life of pregnant teenagers and also their first few weeks as a new mother. There was a photo of Derek Underwood in the Facebook account of Farrah Abraham and it had an RIP message posted following the words ‘Sophia’s Father’.
