Horrorcore Rapper Richard ‘Syko Sam’ McCroskey III, Pleads Guilty 4 Murders

Sep 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to a report in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Richard Samuel Alden McCroskey III has pleaded guilty in the deaths of four people in the Farmville murders last year. He pleaded on two counts of first degree murder and two counts of capital murder.
As a part of a plea agreement, he was sentenced to life in prison for the murders of a Longwood University Professor, Debra S Kelley, her husband, a church pastor, Mark Niederbrock, their daughter, Emma, who was 16 and her 18 year old friend Melanie Wells, who was from West Virginia.
The four bodies of the victims were found on Septemeber 18 of 2009 in the home of the Kelley family which was located on First Avenue. The house was within a few blocks of the Lonbgwood campus. McCroskey was caught at the Richmond International Airport the day after the horrible crimes.
Sixteen year old Emma had met the hardcore rapper online. He was said to have been visiting Emma from his California home. McCroskey recorded music which had graphic lyrics portraying murder and gore. The parents had taken Emma, “Sam” and Melania to a horrocore music festival in Michigan just a few days before the murders took place. The motive is unclear.
