Hopkins likely to play Hitchcock
January 25th, 2011 - 1:34 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Jan 25 (IANS) Veteran actor Sir Anthony Hopkins may play legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock in a biopic.The Oscar-winning actor is said to have been approached to play Hitchcock in a movie based on Stephen Rebello’s book “Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho”, which tells the story of the director’s struggle to finance his 1960 horror classic “Psycho”, reports dailystar.co.uk.
Screenwriter-director Sacha Gervasi is in talks to step behind the camera to direct the film, while “Black Swan” writer John McLaughlin has taken charge of the script.
