Los Angeles, Nov 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) US female soccer star Hope Solo says she was voted out of the Dancing with the Stars contest because she had ‘too much muscle.’ The US athlete made it to the semi finals of the contest before she was voted out. J.R. Martinez ended up with the Mirrorball after beating stiff competition from reality television star Rob Kardashian.

The goalkeeper appeared on the show with professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. During the contest and even after they were eliminated, there were numerous reports that the two were having problems with the judges on the show. Addressing the issue, Hope told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that, “I was told I had too much muscle and I was too intense and wasn’t very dainty. Well, hello — you cast a female professional athlete. Help me get better as a dancer. There’s no hard feelings at all. I understand that it’s television.”

What was common during the flight of Hope and Chmerkovskiy was that they always seemed to have a problem with the critiques of the judges. Shortly after she was evicted from the show, Hope spoke to the People Magazine.

The 30-year-old seemed to suggest that the judges were against her because of the scores that they gave to her during the semi final performance. She told Cooper that she was “naïve” at that time and apologized for the comments.
