The lead guitarist of “Stryper” Oz Fox, got married on Friday evening, 5th June at 7 p.m. He tied his nuptial knots with “Hookers for Jesus” founder Annie Lobert. The ceremony took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Annie Lobert, 41, ‘walked the aisle’ in a white strapless gown for her wedding. The ceremony was broadcasted live on “The Church of Las Vegas” website. On her MySpace blog, Lobert had written, “I am getting married. Its about time”. Lobert and Fox had met in February 2008 and have been seeing each other since then.

Annie Lobert had previously worked as prostitute and a high class escort in Hawaii, Las Vegas and Minneapolis for almost 11 years. Her clientele had included famous actors, musicians, rock stars, athletes and local and national politicians. Her earnings sometimes went up to as much as $ 500 an hour. According to an interview given to ABC that is posted on her website, the greatest pitfall in her life was when she had a cocaine overdose. Everything had gone black for her. She got out of the sex trade network and went on to form the “Hookers for Jesus” society in 2005.

The “Hookers” is an international organization that aims in pledging help to sex workers. This organization specifically offers aids to sex workers who want to quit the flesh trade. It addresses the realities of the whole business, the violence, the exploitation, the brutalities of pornography and the sex industry. She spends night on the streets of Vegas handing out Bibles to prostitutes. She aims to salvage the battered souls of the women who sell their bodies and are trapped eternally in a traumatized existence.
