Homosexual Californian Soldier Respectably Released From The New York Army National Guard
July 23rd, 2010 - 7:37 pm ICT by Sampurn WireWashington, July 23, 2010 (Just Flashed): Lt. Dan Choi is an American soldier, who stems from the Orange Country in the state of California. He has been involved in the controversial American occupation of Iraq as well. He had announced that he was a homosexual in excess of a year ago on “The Rachel Maddow Show’ that was telecast on MSNBC. Subsequent to his disclosure of his sexual orientation, questions about his future in the American military were raised. Choi has been waiting since then for the representatives of the American military to resolve whether he needed to be released from the American armed services.
Choi has now articulated that he has been respectably released from the Army National Guard via the “don’t ask, don’t tell’ rule of the military. Choi has mentioned that he was released from the New York Army National Guard on Thursday. Choi has expressed that this decision of the military is annoying and excruciating.
The “don’t ask, don’t tell’ strategy forbids the American military from querying about the sexual preference of service members. However, this strategy necessitates the release of those soldiers, who have confessed their homosexuality or who have been detected while behaving homosexually.
