London, June 9 (ANI): Homer Simpson’s classic curse ‘d’oh’ has been voted as the favourite catchphrase from a children’s TV programme in a new poll.

According to Thebabywebsite.com, the silly father’s trademark grunt, which even entered the Oxford English Dictionary in 2001, piped Fred Flintstone’s “yabba dabba doo”.

Daleks’ “exterminate” from Doctor Who bagged the third spot, followed by Captain Kirk’s “beam me up, Scotty” from the Star Trek series, in the survey of over 7,000 people.”It’s surprising how many of the catchphrases have stood the test of time. I’m sure Homer’s ‘d’oh’ will be in the list for many years to come,” the Daily Star quoted the website’s spokesman Nigel Crawford as saying. (ANI)
