Home of MJ’s personal doc raided

London, July 29 (ANI): Police and federal agents have searched the home of Michael Jackson’s personal physician as part of their investigation into the singer’s death.
The search was done following reports that the authorities believe Dr Conrad Murray killed the pop star by administering a powerful anaesthetic drug. They seized mobile phones and a computer hard drive. Murray was present during the search, his lawyers said.
Meanwhile, a toxicology report was ready to be released, showing that at least six prescription drugs were found in Jackson’s body.
Murray’s lawyer Ed Chernoff has confirmed that his client was at the centre of a manslaughter investigation, the Daily Express reports.
However, he added that Murray “didn’t prescribe or administer anything that should have killed Michael Jackson”.
A Los Angeles law enforcement source revealed that the heart specialist allegedly gave the pop legend hospital anaesthetic Propofol at midnight on the day he died.
Apparently, the medical world reckons that doctors should use the anaesthetic only in hospitals, as patients need to be monitored by an ECG, or electrocardiogram during the medication.
Now, Murray’s legal team may probably try and claim that Jackson caused his own death by using other drugs not recommended by him.
Michael died of an apparent cardiac arrest at his LA home on June 25. (ANI)
