Hollywood stars attend Alexander McQueen’s memorial service

London, Sep 21 (IANS) More than 1,000 people, including names like Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Stella McCartney, went to pay their tribute to late designer Alexander McQueen during a memorial service at the St Paul’s Cathedral here Monday morning.
Dressed in black, with hats and stylish heels, the celebrities gathered for the hour-long service to remember the iconic British designer who committed suicide seven months ago, reports people.com.
The eulogies for the designer were led by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, one of McQueen’s first employers. Other eulogies were recited by fashion writer Suzy Menkes and the designer’s muse, Annabelle Neilsen.
Many celebrities also wore the designer’s creations.
