Toronto, Oct 15 (IANS) DNA results have given a clean chit to Hollywood star Keanu Reeves: he didn’t father the children of a Canadian woman.
But 47-year-old Karen Sala of Barrie near Toronto dismissed the results, saying the star of “The Matrix” and “Speed” is the father of “more than one” of her four children.

She had moved a family court in July, alleging that the Hollywood star had fathered her children.

The woman had demanded that Reeves pay her $3 million in spousal support and $150,000 per month in child support since 1988 and undergo paternity tests.

All her children are now between the ages of 20 and 25.

Beirut-born Reeves, now 44, lived in Toronto in the 1980s before moving to Hollywood.

In her court documents, the Canadian woman said she knew him when he was just nine years old.

She said she had sexual relations with the film star during her troubled marriage and that Reeves may have fathered one of her children in the 1980s.

The woman said in papers that “I have been through hell and back. The kids have been hell and back”.

But a lawyer for the Hollywood star confirmed Wednesday that the woman’s allegations were false.

“The (DNA) results confirm Reeves is not the father of any of the children,” lawyer Lorne Wolfson said.

But Sala questioned the DNA results, maintaining that “he is the biological father. He obviously doesn’t want to take responsibility. If he wanted to he would have done it years ago”.

The lawyer said he will ask the court to throw out her case during the next hearing.
