Hollywood actor Shea to play villain in Tamil movie

Chennai, May 13 (IANS) Hollywood actor John Shea will play a villain in a Tamil film “Achamundu Achamundu” (We Are Afraid) featuring Prasanna and Sneha, its NRI director Arun Vaidyanathan said Tuesday. Recent releases of Shea include “A Broken Sole”, “The Insurgents” and “Heartbreak Hospital”.
Shea, who won an Emmy for “Baby M”, a 1988 mini-series, will also be seen in a Hollywood forthcoming release “Bombshell”.
“Achamundu…”, revolving around a global Tamil-centric issue, will be shot completely in the US. Being made in Tamil and English, the movie will have a global release in 2009, Vaidyanathan told reporters.
Karthik Raja has been signed to score the music.
