Holly Willoughby quits Dancing On Ice

London, Nov 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Dancing on Ice co-star Holly Willoughby has quit the show to become the host of BBC’s latest show The Voice. ITV has announced that former BBC host Christine Bleakley will replace Holly on the show.

Reacting to being named as the replacement of Holly, Christine said that, “My only concern was what a big task it is to follow the brilliant Holly and I can only promise her, Phillip and everyone at home that they couldn’t have a bigger fan of the show on board.”

With the exit of Holly, Christine will be joining Phillip Schofield as the hosts of the show. Schofield revealed that he is “delighted” to have Holly on the show. Despite the exit of Holly, ITV is still confident the show will grow.

The director of television of the network said that, “Dancing on Ice continues to be one of ITV1’s most successful entertainment hits and I’m delighted that Christine will be joining Phillip Schofield to host next year’s show.”

Holly tweeted and congratulated Christine for being named as her replacement. She wished her all the best of luck and revealed that the show is a “magical” one. When she was questioned on why she was stepping down as the host of Dancing on Ice show, Holly declined to give an answer rather telling her followers that she will do so the following week.
