Holly Hunter: Engaged?

Is actress Holly Hunter engaged? This question has been making the rounds since the time Hunter was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger during a television appearance. It has sparked the speculations that she is engaged to longtime boyfriend Gordon MacDonald. The two have been dating since 2001 and in 2006 Hunter gave birth to their twin boys.
Craig Ferguson, the host of The Late Late Show pointed to Hunter’s ring and asked if she has some news to which she casually said “you know’. Fergusson grilled her further saying that it’s a bold statement right there and Hunter replied that she knows that and it is from very confident man.
Hunter was earlier in a relationship with actor Arliss Howard for many years. She was married to polish cinematographer Janusz Kamiński for six years. They separated in 2001 after which she has been in a relationship with American actor Gordon MacDonald. They co-starred in Marina Carr’s By the Bog of Cats in a 2001 run at the San Jose Repertory Theater.
Hunter was awarded Academy Award for her role of a mute Scottish woman entangled in an adulterous affair with Harvey Keitel in Jane Campion’s The Piano. Her other major film include Raising Arizona, Broadcast News and Always. She currently stars in the TNT cable-network drama Saving Grace, which premiered in July 2007.
