Oct 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ever since the name of holly Hester has cropped up alongside that of the famous late night talk show host, David Letterman, an ongoing debate was kicked off, whether Letterman’s gesture towards his female staffers would turn away the teeming multitudes of female fans from him. No one can deny the fact that Letterman’s involvement with members of his staff has not exactly received any positive feedback.

Holly Hester’s admittance also revealed one fact that Letterman had been involved in the practice of being involved with the female staff members on his crew since a long time. Holly Hester had been an intern on his team while she was a student at the New York University in the early 1990s.

All these recent revelations as well as the eruption of the sex scandal has no doubt had a telling effect on the foundation of his marriage. Returning to the show on Monday, fresh from the controversy, Letterman revealed to his fans and viewers that he was now trying hard to save his marriage from being shattered.

Talking about his in front of the viewers, he said that wife Regina Lasko has, “been horribly hurt” by his behavior. He went on to state, “At that point, there’s only two things that can happen. Either you make some progress and get it fixed, or you’re going to fall short and perhaps not get it fixed.”

David Letterman also made it a point to apologize to the female members of his staff, saying, “I’m terribly sorry that I put the staff in that position.”
