“Hold My Hand” From Michael Jackson’s Posthumous Album Officially Released

mjNov 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Michael Jackson’s much anticipated posthumous album “Michael” is all set to hit the music stores on December 14. One of its single “Breaking News” leaked online last week, however, Sony and Epic Records has released another single “Hold My Hand” from the same album featuring R&B singer Akon. The media outlets reports that “Hold My Hand” is the official first single from the album “Michael” and it has been released in King of Pop’s official website for the listeners.

The Sony officials say that “Hold My Hand” is an universal prayer for peace where Akon and Micheal Jackson has shared the mike together to sing for their fans. Akon reportedly went to the studio few days back to give finishing touches to his song. In his interview “Mr. Lonely” singer told a repute media source that he recorded the song with Michael Jackson back in 2007 in Las Vegas but the song was reportedly not ready for release back then. However, while speaking about the legendary singer Michael Jackson, the rapper said that when he was recording the song with the King of Pop in the same room, he felt that he has achieved everything in life.

If media reports are to be believed, “Hold My Hand” is going to be one of Michael Jackson’s famous love ballads. The critics have commented that Akon has lead the verses and choruses of the song. The song starts with Michael Jackson saying that this life “don’t last forever”. will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas seemed to be unhappy with the single as he feels that Sony music released King of Pop’s unfinished works. In one of his interviews will.i.am said that for him the whole thing came as a “disrespectful” attitude towards Michael Jackson.
