London, May 3 (IANS) Socialite Paris Hilton’s stalker, who tried to break into her house last year, was convicted Friday and will reportedly face three years in jail when he is sentenced in June.
Nathan Lee Parada was charged with a felony count of attempted residential burglary, Deputy District Attorney Kaveh Faturechi said in a statement. The jury deliberated for less than an hour before returning with its verdict.
The incident in question had occurred in August 2010 when Parada allegedly approached Hilton’s home in the gated Mulholland Estates community in Los Angeles. Parada began banging on the front door before he was confronted by Hilton’s boyfriend Cy Waits, who pulled a gun on the suspect before he could enter the premises.
