Double Oscar winner Hilary Swank was not ready to love again soon when her marriage with long time hubby Chad Lowe broke down.
But she surprised herself, as while in the process of divorcing Chad she met John Campisi in May 2006 and he managed to weave his magic, good and proper.
The talented actress has revealed that the romance between her and her new beau John was “unexpected’, as they were mending their broken hearts when they had met.
She’s told Hello Magazine: “There was no spark. What’s interesting is, there was never anything. It wasn’t until we were well into the dissipation of our respective relationships. Going through something so difficult at the same time, we became very good friends. We became closer and closer.”
She’s added: “It was so unexpected. We both recognized that if we were going to take the relationship to the next step, we could no longer work together.”
Well, the twosome doesn’t have wedding plans in the near future, but she sure wishes to have a family. She has already started playing Mummy and likes spending time with John’s son, Sam.
She’s said, “Sam’s a sweetheart. I most definitely want children. It’s something I’d like to do someday. And when the timing is right I’ll hopefully know it.”
If all goes well, this one’s a bond to stay in Hilary’s life.
