The couple met in 2005 during their shoot and started dating in 2007. However, the representative of the couple is tight lipped about the whole matter.

A reputed media outlet came up with the news that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens broke up with each other though they are still friends. However, the gossip sites failed to provide any specific reason for the split. Some sources claim that the couple was together for so long that their relationship ran its course. On the other hand, Zac Efron spoke about his relationship recently where he said that he is in a perfect relationship and its real. However, about the break up, the media outlets claim that no third party is involved in the split as the couple mutually decided to part their ways.

A celebrity and lifestyle magazine claimed that the couple did not cheat on each other. A source close to Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens reportedly said that it seems the couple decided to concentrate on their respective lives. However, previously the “Charlie St. Cloud” actor said that he does not wish to exchange vows before he is 40. He also added “thought” of marriage never crossed his mind. Earlier this year, Vanessa Hudgens opened up about her relationship with the actor and said that the couple had a connection from the first day. Vanessa Hudgens also said that she feels both of them inspire each other a lot and Zac Efron is adorable.
