Heroes star Hayden Panettiere Jan 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As last night’s episode of “Heroes” began, Claire and Gretchen are sitting at a table. Gretchen offers to be a sounding board for Claire, but Claire tells her that she has no idea where to begin. Gretchen tells Claire she will always be there if Claire ever needs her. Claire gets up to go to her next class, and just after she walks away, Syler asks Gretchen if he can sit down, she smiles and nods.

Hiro  and the boys are at Noah’s apartment, and Hiro passes out. He wakes up in front of a judge. Apparently he is on trial against the world, for using time travel for his own gain. Ando takes him to the hospital, because he is, in reality, still unconscious, however in his mind he is still on trial. Hiro pleads “Not Guilty” and asks for a lawyer. Ando appears as his lawyer, but also the younger Ando appears to testify against him. The young Ando tells about the slushy incidence. Hiro explains that two people found love and no one was hurt. Syler was there next to testify against Hiro, and explained how Hiro told him that he could hurt anyone that he wanted, as long as he saved his girlfriend. Syler went on to share the long list of people he had killed since Hiro had said that. Hiro stood by his decision to save Charlie. Ando calls Hiro to the stand, which is actually in a diner. Ando points out through his questioning that although Hiro discovered that he had powers, he never used them to become famous or rob and harm people. He goes on to show how life is for someone with Hiro’s gift. Hiro tells them all that he did what he did to make life better, and for love, and if that makes him bad, then he accepts his punishment, which is death. The judge said he was guilty…and at that very same moment in reality, they were trying to revive Hiro in an emergency room. In his reality, Hiro gets up from a hospital bed, while the judge and court are watching, and walks down a long white hall toward a light. Hiro stops, turns around, and changes his plea to guilty, because if he is to go he wishes to go with honor. The judge, his dad, smiles at Hiro and tells him to go ahead, and suddenly Hiro has a sword and must fight the prosecutor. Hiro kills him. His mother appears, and tells him she is proud of him for the lessons that he has learned. He tells his mother that he is ready to go, but she tells him “No” that she has not come to take him, but to heal him. She kisses him on the forehead, and in reality, Hiro’s pulse starts back up.

As Claire enters a classroom, Syler flips a blackboard over which says” Why Claire Bennett” and asks her if she is ready to brainstorm. She asks him what he is doing there, and he answers, “I’m here to learn.” Claire tells him that she wants to kill him like he did her father. He tells her that he doesn’t want to be alone, that she needed to help him figure out how to be more human, or he would hurt Gretchen. She agrees to help him if he doesn’t hurt Gretchen. He begins to show her how he and she have so much in common, and yet they ended up so different. She tries to leave, but he stops her, and tells her that he will take what he wants, because he has taken Lydia’s gift. Syler tells her that they are exactly alike, that they both use their gift to keep everyone else away. He goes on to tell her how it felt to tie up Gretchen and the memories he felt through her with Claire. Claire stabs his eyes with a pencil, and tells him that he is off his game, that he just told Claire exactly where Gretchen is. Claire finds Gretchen in their room, and unties her, and the windows explode. They hide, and Claire apologizes to Gretchen for keeping her at arm’s length. Gretchen tells her that it is okay. As they sit in the closet and chat, they figure out that in order for Syler to become human, he must get rid of all his powers. Suddenly Gretchen morphs into Syler, and tells Claire that Gretchen is right where Claire left her. He then leaves, and Claire goes to Gretchen, and yet again, this time to the real Gretchen, apologizes for pushing her away. Syler shows up at Matt’s house, and asks his wife to tell him where Matt is. She says, “I am sorry, have we met?”

Samuel is talking to Vanessa, and she wants to go home, he wants to show her one thing first. She agrees to stay long enough to eat, and then she wants to go home. They begin to share a strawberry shake. Samuel keeps sharing memories with Vanessa, and she seems to be responding just the way he hoped. They begin to kiss, and then he takes her to see the meadow he has created, and shows her the “Dream Cottage” she dreamed of as a girl. She tells him that she can’t live here. She tells him that this is a fantasy, his fantasy, and it is beautiful, but it isn’t her. He is obviously upset, and says he will take her home. She tries to kiss him, but he pushes her away and tells her it is okay, although it is obviously not, and he walks away. Samuel goes back to the diner where they shared a milkshake. The waitress asks him if anything is wrong, and he says yes, then he begins to yell at her and scare her. He says that he is tired of being nice and playing by the rules, from now on everyone will play by his. He then balled his fist and caused an earthquake which swallowed many buildings, as the people from his carnival watched and Lydia shook her head. To Be continued…

This is getting good!! I can’t wait until next week! As always, thanks for reading and don’t forget to Buzz Up and ReTweet. You’ll do this for me won’t you? Thanks!
