Heroes Season 4, Episode 11 Heroes Season 4, Episode 11 opens with Hiro arguing with Samuel to get Charlie back. As you might remember, Samuel is holding Charlie hostage in God only nows what time and where. Samuel says “Not yet” but invites the angry Hiro to kill him with an axe, and then states” Oh yes, you can’t, if you do, you’ll never see your precious Charlie.” and oh my what an evil grin Samuel is wearing!

Claire is on the phone with her dad, Noah, discussing Gretchen leaving. She is obviously frustrated and depressed, but after a bit she finally agrees to come home for Thanksgiving. She tells him she has something she wanted to talk about, anyway.

Noah is in the grocery on his cell, and as soon as he hangs up from his chat with Claire, Lauren is there. He mentions the fact that he is having Thanksgiving with Claire and his ex-wife and her boyfriend. Lauren helps him find everything he will need for a great Thanksgiving Dinner, and in return he invites her as well. This should be an interesting dinner!

Peter’s mother, Angela barges in and he begins to question her about the storage unit, which is rented in her name, where he saw Nathan’s dead body. She informs him that it was not Nathan but a shapeshifter which had to be dealt with and disposed of. Peter then confronts her about Matt Parkman and everything he had told Peter and Nathan. She suggests that Matt is insane. Peter asks Angela if Nathan is really dead. Nathan grabs his mother’s hand and tells her to answer. She instructs them both to sit down and have Thanksgiving Dinner like a family or she is leaving and will never be back. They sit, but you see Nathan’s face fluctuate to Syler’s, and then back. Creepy!

Claire shows up at Noah’s while he is cooking and says she needs to talk to him. Lauren walks out and Claire, with an odd look, asks if mom knew he was bringing a date. He says mom will understand. Mom, Doug, and dogs show up, and Mom, seeing Lauren, says”Oh, you hired a cook?” Lauren was a bit put off by the remark, obviously.

Hiro complains to Lydia about Samuel breaking his promise to free Charlie. She asks Hiro how he changed the past to help Samuel. Hiro refuses to tell her anything for fear of losing Charlie forever. She begins to change clothes for dinner right in front of Hiro, and he turns away from her, saying that she cannot seduce him, he loves Charlie. She then walks up behind him and tells him she can help him, that she needs to be close to him. She asks him to touch her and he does, on her back. She tells him she can feel what he is feeling and then asks him why Samuel didn’t ask him to go back and save his brother Joseph. She requests that Hiro take her back, 8 weeks, to when Joseph died so she can see what happened. Hiro refuses, but she holds onto him and it happens anyway. This can’t be good.

Angela admits that Nathan is really dead. She tried to save him, but couldn’t. She forced Matt to put Nathan into Syler’s body. Nathan argues with her that he is dead, but she insists that to the world ,he is alive and that they can still be family. She proposes a toast “To us.”

Noah is making a toast to everyone, especially Lauren who saved the dinner. Lauren asks how they met, and Doug volunteered the story of their dogs falling in love at the groomers. Claire’s mom then asks Lauren how she knows Noah, and tells her she knows everything about it, that memory can only be erased so many times. Meanwhile Doug refuses a bowl, due to allergies to legumes. Noah asks everyone to remember why they are here, but Claire is looking angry. Doug asks for everyone to tell what they are thankful for, but Claire says she just isn’t feeling it. When Noah pushes her, she responds by announcing that she is thinking of dropping out of school. She is tired of being a freak. Doug tells her that is normal that everyone feels that way sometimes. She cuts her arm down the middle and lets Doug see it heal, asking “Is this normal?” Doug faints. I think Claire is fed up, don’t you?

Hiro and Lydia are back 8 weeks ago and see Samuel arguing with Joseph. Joseph informs him that a government agent is coming for him, Joseph gave him a compass. Samual calls him a traitor and causes a rock to fly into his head, killing his brother. He then grabs Joseph crying “What have I done?” He seems to be remorseful, but then, obviously not enough to have Hiro go back and save Joseph.

Noah is trying to convince Claire that a normal life is possible, but that the Carnival People are bad news and she should stay away. Gretchen knocks on the door, Noah had called her. Everyone starts to leave and mom says Doug will be fine , that she told him he ate a nut and dreamed it all. Claire gets in the car with Gretchen, and shows her the compass she stole from her dad. “I want some answers, care to go on an adventure?” Gretchen agrees even though Claire has informed her that it could be dangerous. I am not so sure this is a good idea!

Angela stops Nathan from grabbing a knife at the table. He asks if there is a problem, and they realize Syler is there. Electrical archs spark all over his body and then Nathan becomes Syler. He sits down to eat, saying he is starving, and forces Peter and Angela to sit.Can we say “possession”?

Smauel announces at dinner that there is a traitor in the midst. He points out Edgar, but Edgar tells everyone that Hiro saw Samual do it. Hiro denies it, for fear of losing Charlie. Hiro then freezes time to keep Samuel from killing Edgar, and convinces Edgar to run. Time unfreezes and everyone looks around, disoriented. Samuel announces that the guilty party always runs, and Edgar had run off. Can’t everyone see through this charade?

Syler tries to hurt Angela, cutting into her skin on her forehead, and Nathan fights to regain control. A battle is clearly going on inside and then Nathan fluctuates back. He looks at his mom and says ‘What have you done to me?”. He then runs out the door.

Samuel tells Hiro that by saving Edgar, he just put Charlie in jeopardy. Hero stands up to Samuel and tell him that he will leave if Samuel does not release Charlie. Sam has Hiro’s memories erased, and Hiro comes back, saying “Beam me up Scotty” and vanishes. Samuel ask the Haitian, “What have you done?” Well everyone is going to be in a mess now!
