Herge’s Tintin prequel found in old school corridor

The extensive frieze bearing knights in armour, Red Indians and Scouts was discovered by chance in an unused corridor of Herge’s old school in Brussels, after someone decided it should be redecorated, reports Times Online.

Herge’s following is so huge that the prequel to the adventures of Tintin is expected to become a pilgrimage site for millions of his fans worldwide.

Tintin, the heroic Belgian reporter is a cultural icon.

His cartoon adventures have sold more than 200 million copies, and they have been translated into more than 50 languages. (ANI)
