He has won the Hells’ Kitchen season 6 and would be able to exhibit his cooking skills during Winter Olympics next year. On the season finale episode, Levey had intense pain in his left hand and could make minimal use of the hand during the show.

Chef Gordon Ramsay who is the host of the show said that this was the first time he saw a person suffering from such intense pain. Pain could not stop Levey from contesting in the final episode which made Ramsay to praise his determination.

In spite of having pains in his hand, Dave Levey proved his skills and defeated the other two finalists of the show. Kevin Cottle became the first runner of the show. The other finalist Ariel Contreras could not make his way to the final challenge.

Dave Levey has cooking career of several years. He had gathered the experience of working in different sections of the kitchen and so can handle all the jobs easily. When he was interviewed after the show, he said that he was little surprised when he came to know the results. Though he was little surprised, he said, “But I felt confident. I stuck to my guns and I studied what Chef Ramsay wanted done.” His confident has earned him the opportunity to work with James Walt, who is the executive chef at Araxi restaurant. Levey fond of snowboarding and skiing, is excited to get the opportunity to be at Whistler during 2010 Winter Olympics.
