Los Angeles, Oct 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The mother of plastic surgery addict, Heidi Montag is now living as a housemaid.

Darlene Egelhoff made the headlines sometime back when she publicly disapproved her daughter’s plastic surgery. Egeldoff lost her restaurant after 21 years of operations. She told the Inside Edition on Thursday that she is now surviving by working in the homes of locals at her town of Crested Butte, Colo.

Remarkably, Egeldoff said some of her clients recognized her and she feels humbled by that. She however maintains that her daughter does not know about her current financial difficulties because the pair has not spoken for the last nine months now. Egeldoff now feel it is time for her and her daughter to resolve the differences they have. She has gone to the extent of creating a personal blog called “Metamorphosis of a Mother” in her bid to reconcile with her daughter. She hopes Heidi will get to read the blog sometime.

One thing that is certain however is that Egeldoff does not feel bigger than her current employment. She said that, “That’s very humbling for me and I very much appreciate that experience because I don’t ever want to get full of myself and think I’m too good to do anything”.
