Washington, Jan 14 (ANI): ‘The Hills’ star Heidi Montag has revealed that when she walked into her house with her face concealed, a concerned neighbour called the police with a report of a possible kidnapping.

The incident, which took place on January 13, saw cops arriving in full force, briefly detaining one of Montag’s husband Spencer Pratt’s employees before the misunderstanding was cleared up.

Montag, 23, revealed the whole mix-up had occurred because of her scarf, and she thanked the officers for the effort they had made.

“We’re grateful this was only a false alarm and I just had my pink Hermes scarf over me,” People magazine quoted Montag as saying.

“A neighbour was concerned and called the police. We’re thankful to the LAPD for their response and making sure we were safe,” she added. (ANI)
