The news that have been doing the rounds for a while since May is that Heidi Pratt will be posing for Hugh Hefner’s Playboy. Though Heidi has neither publicly acknowledged nor defied the rumor, the news is that the September issue of Playboy will be seeing Heidi on the cover page. The issue will be hitting the news stands on August 15.

While speaking to MTV news, Heidi wisely overstepped all questions regarding the matter. She said that it would be of immense honor to pose for the famed magazine, as many famous names have posed like her before. She mentioned names of some of the most iconic women to have posed for Playboy, like Charlize Theron, Marilyn Monroe, Sharon Stone.

Yesterday on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS- FM show, the Pratts broke the news of making an appearance on the August 21 telecast of the Miss Universe pageant by the NBC network. When questioned by the host if posing nude clashes with her Christian beliefs, she said that, “I think God made humans naked. We were not even born with clothes. The body is a beautiful thing. I would love to do a lot of things in the future, and Playboy would be definitely, like be an honor.”

However, husband Spencer went ahead to divulge a wee bit on the matter saying that, “If she did have a Playboy that was dropping on August 15, the day after my birthday, I would go get a copy.”

So now Heidi fans will have a lot of options to see the “Hills” and “I’m a Celebrity.. Get me out of here!” star in the August issue of Playboy as well as her singing performance in the Miss Universe pageant.
