May 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Reality TV star Heidi Montag has reportedly split with the husband Spencer Pratt. The 18-month old couple were married in Mexico in 2008 in an informal wedding ceremony and exchanged vows again in 2009 in Pasadena, California. Heidi Montag’s representative has said in a statement to the media that the couple is presently separated but there is no formal announcement about divorce.

Heidi Montag has reportedly moved out of their house and is reportedly looking for a place to stay in Malibu Town in California. According to close sources, the ‘Hill’ star is tired of Spencer Pratt’s controlled ‘Bad Press’ and the split was due for a long time. It wasn’t a sudden thing.

Since their marriage in 2008 the couple has been in the news for one reason or the other. Heidi Montag and her husband shot to prominence after the reality series ‘Hills’ on MTV in 2006. The couple came to be known as ‘Speidi’ among fans. The busty blond underwent ten plastic surgeries in one day to change her ‘image’ and definitely stay in the news. In a more recent news we heard Heidi Montag calling the cops to get rid of her estranged mom. Earlier Spencer Pratt asserted his belief in crystals to the media by spending thousands of dollars in them. Heidi Montag also recently fired Spencer Pratt as her manager and hired some ‘guru’ and again fired him in two weeks. The media ’savvy’ couple’s split has been a very hot topic for the ‘Speidi’ fans and critics alike. The separation news does help their cause but it is too early to tell.
