Mills, who lost a leg when hit by a police motorbike in 1993, is said to be in ‘absolute agony’ and a pal revealed that she could be facing a serious operation.

What’s more, the surgery could keep her out of action for as long as six months.

“It (metal plate) separated after a screw came out,” the Mirror quoted the pal, as saying.

“Two weeks ago the joint moved and is out of line - it’s not stable. She could face a serious operation.”

The animal rights activist has in the meantime reportedly told Macca to cough up 50 million pounds in a divorce settlement by Friday or risk facing her in court.

A source revealed that Mills, who was confident of reaching a settlement after the couple’s meeting at a Financial Dispute Resolution hearing in London last Thursday, set a deadline after Macca’s legal teamed failed to agree five days later.

“Heather has demanded that her lawyers contact Paul’s legal team to say they have a deadline of Friday,” the Daily Mail quoted the source, as saying.

The insider revealed that if Macca’s team fail to respond by the deadline, then Mills was thrash out the settlement in court.

“If they do not come back saying we’re in general agreement to the settlement as thrashed out in court last week by then, she will give the green light to slug it out very publicly in court,” the source said. (ANI)
