Heath Ledger’s last role to be played by Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell & Jude Law

Heath Ledger Vancouver, Dec 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Heath Ledger’s unfinished last role in ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ is to be completed by the trio of Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law, the director Terry Gilliam confirmed today. Since Heath Ledger died after completing just one-third of the movie, so it was quite a task to find a replacement for him. Earlier it was being said that his role would be completed with the computer-generated imaginary, but later this trio of actors were asked to step into Heath Ledger’s shoes, and complete the movie.

Terry Gilliam announced in a statement that the trio of A-list actors would share the role of Tony so that the performance of Ledger, who died while shooting the film, could be retained. The director was very grateful to the trio of top class actors who agreed to step in and finish off Heath’s role.

Gilliam, who also worked with Ledger on The Brothers Grimm, said: “I am grateful to Johnny, Colin and Jude for coming on board and to everyone else who has made it possible for us to finish the film.

“I am delighted that Heath’s brilliant performance can be shared with the world.” The director said that he is now looking forward to completing the movie so that they could release it as soon as possible so that Heath Ledger’s great acting could be seen by the world.

He also clarified about the aspect of using 3 actors to fill the void left behind 1 actor. He said that the format of the movie is such that 3 actors can easily step in and finish off Heath Ledger’s role in the movie.
